Welcome the Honors Bess  H. Ward Travel Grant Application

University Honors Program students who are in good standing with the FSU University Honors Program and meet the eligibility requirements listed below can apply for the Bess. H. Ward travel grant. It is a one-time only award and is to be used to defray the expenses incurred during one semester (fall, spring, or summer) during which an Honors student travels abroad for an approved activity. Students must take at least the minimum number of credit hours required by the sponsoring program.

Eligibility requirements: 

• Minimum 3.2 FSU GPA
• 9 hours of honors coursework completed by the start of the travel semester
• Be admitted to a FSU International Programs, Global Exchange, Global Scholars or qualifying Honors-sponsored travel program.

If awarded the scholarship, it can take several weeks after the start of the semester for the funds to be disbursed into the student's account. Students should be prepared to cover all expenses out of pocket until the money is disbursed by Financial Aid.

   1. Note: If you do not use your FSU student email, your application will not be processed.
2.  After logging into your account, you must click the "View programs" to access the application.
3. After finishing all questions, you will see a mark as complete box. Once you click that box, the submit button with appear.
